Organised in cooperation with Istanbul Medeniyet University (IMU) Department of Psychology and Psychology Application and Research Centre, ‘’3rd Career Days in IMU Psychology‘’ event was held online on June 01, 2023. Within the scope of the event, Psychologist Ayşenur KARATAŞ made a presentation on ‘Supported Employment Business Coaching’ and gave detailed information to the participants about the importance of job coaching and supported employment in professional career development.
Psychologist KARATAŞ emphasised how supported employment supports individuals’ participation in the labour market and the critical role of job coaching in this process. In his presentation, she mentioned how individuals can be supported to achieve their career goals through vocational guidance and job coaching practices within the framework of the supported employment model and underlined the importance of employment policies where this model is implemented for sustainable economic development.
This event, which was organised in a free vocational training format for our students, aimed to provide valuable perspectives to the participants in their career planning and development processes.
