The “Erişçi Academy Audiology Days 2025” training seminar organized by Istanbul Medeniyet University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Audiology was held on February 28, 2025 at Âşık Paşa Hall. The event, which was realized in cooperation with Erişçi Elektronik, discussed important developments in the field of medicine and human health and shared many innovative topics from hearing and balance technologies to virtual reality applications in vestibular rehabilitation.
Hürol Erişçi, Engin Danişmen, Ahmet Eberliköse, Mine Tuna, Hilal Köse and Recai Arslantaş took part in the seminar as speakers. Experts in their fields shared their knowledge and experience with the participants and discussed current developments in the field of audiology in detail.
The seminar started with a comprehensive presentation by Hürol Erişçi on the historical development, current status and future of audiology. Touching on the latest innovations in hearing technologies, Erişçi conveyed the transformation process in the sector to the participants.
Engin Danişmen then spoke in detail about the new cortical testing devices. Emphasizing the potential of these devices to change audiological testing, Danişmen drew attention to the importance of technological advances in the world of audiology for public health. Ahmet Eberliköse presented information on how hearing quality is measured using the ACT device and discussed product innovations and technical developments in this field.
Mine Tuna, Hilal Köse and Recai Arslantaş introduced new devices and treatment methods related to the vestibular system. The speakers touched upon the latest technologies used in the treatment of balance disorders and presented how virtual reality applications are used in vestibular rehabilitation.
At the end of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive information about hearing and balance technologies and gained new perspectives on vestibular rehabilitation practices.
This seminar increased knowledge in the field of health sciences and medicine, provided the opportunity to learn new technologies and provided free vocational training for audiology students.
