IMU Ombudsman Student Club Organised a Trip to Ankara Within the Scope of a Vocational Training on Administration and Justice System

IMU Ombudsman Student Club organised a trip to Ankara on 5-6 December 2023 to provide a learning opportunity for professional experience.

Within the scope of the two-day event, starting from Anıtkabir, the Court of Cassation, the Ministry of Interior, the Ombudsman Institution and the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Turkey (TİHEK) were visited. These visits provided students with the opportunity to gain professional experience, observe and learn about career opportunities, as well as observe the importance of the justice system, politics, good governance, and effective and transparent institutions for a peaceful society, enabling students to gain in-depth knowledge about legal and administrative systems.

On the second day of the trip, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Pink Pavilion and the National Library were visited. Interactions with these institutions contributed significantly to the professional and personal development of the students. The students stated that this experience was of great importance in terms of both education and learning about the decision-making mechanisms and administrative institutions of the country.
