At the “2025 Women in R&D and Innovation Summit Awards Ceremony” held at Anadolu University as part of International Women’s Day on March 8, Prof. Dr. Yeşim Güleç Aslan from Istanbul Medeniyet University was among the award recipients. At the ceremony, awards were presented to female academics and researchers who had carried out successful work in the fields of research and innovation during 2025.
Prof. Dr. Yeşim Güleç Aslan was honored with this award for her role as a researcher in the project titled “A Strong Future Together in Autism: A Model for Enhancing the Role and Capacity of Civil Society Organizations” which aims to reduce inequalities and was carried out under the “3005-Civil Society Research Call”. This achievement was regarded as a significant development contributing to our university’s research capacity and its academic work focused on social benefit.
At the ceremony organized by Anadolu University, awards were presented in the categories of National Projects, International Projects, Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, and Project-Based Internships. Aslan received her award in the National Projects category.
