Istanbul Medeniyet University continues to organize free training and certificate programs to support the professional and personal development of its students.
“Elocution, Announcer and Presenter” training was organized by our University Department of Library and Documentation to support the self-improvement of our students. The training, which was held face to face in the Ziraat Bank Library Hasan Polatkan Conference Hall of our University, started on October 14, 2022, with the narration of the Public Education Directorate educator Hediye YORULMAZ. A total of 15 people registered for the training, which was free and open to outside participation.
In the training, which aims to ensure that those who want to work in the media sector in the future have the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes in this field, practices were also provided in addition to theoretical knowledge. During the training, information was given in different areas such as; Turkish in the context of listening-thinking-speaking; mistakes in spelling and speech; speakership; interview techniques; radio and television presenters; dubbing; elocution; phonetics.
At the end of this training, which lasted a total of 80 hours, participants were given a certificate by the Lifelong Learning Directorate of the Ministry of National Education.
