IMU Urban and Regional Planning Department, which stands out with its researches related to many Sustainable Development Goals at our university, the seminars and workshops it organizes as open to the public, the expert support it provides to the sustainability-related operations of our university, and the partnerships it has established with other institutions, is the first department of our university that prepared a Sustainability Development Report.
Department Coordinator Res.Asst. Ayça ÇELİKBİLEK drew attention to the fact that Urban and Regional Planning profession stands out as perhaps the only profession that can contribute to all sustainable development goals and has the authority to direct institutions to take sustainable decisions in this regard. She added they, as the department, direct their education and social leadership process with being aware of this important duty.
