A conference called “Anatomy of Coups and Upholding Democracy in the 21st Century” was organized by our University’s Department of Health, Culture and Sports for our staff and students. At the conference held face-to-face at our University Ziraat Bank Conference Hall on July 6, 2022, our faculty members Prof.Dr. Alim YILMAZ and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Veysel KURT took part as a speaker. 50 people attended the training, which was offered free of charge.
The conference focused on democratization and conflict issues. The effects of coups on the country and society were explained with examples from past to present.
After the 90-minute conference, the “15 July Books Exhibition” was held in the foyer area.
