Art History Club of our University Organized a Tug-of-War Competition to Promote Healthy and Quality Life

On June 2, 2022, our University’s Art History Club organized a tug-of-war competition in the green area of the South Campus. The event aimed to promote healthy and quality life and was attended by members of the Art History Club and various other club members of the university.

The participants had an energetic and competitive day as they each grabbed hold of one side of the rope, demonstrating their strength with enthusiasm and motivation. The competition fostered teamwork, as students worked in harmony, developed strategies, and strengthened their team spirit. Furthermore, this event helped strengthen social bonds among students and contributed to enhancing their physical, mental, and social well-being.

At the end of the competition, successful teams were determined, and awards were presented. Participants came together after an exhausting yet enjoyable day, reinforcing their friendships through sharing both victories and defeats. As a gesture of solidarity and unity, all participants were treated to çiğköfte, a traditional Turkish dish made from bulgur and spices, further enhancing the sense of camaraderie and togetherness.
