Istanbul Medeniyet University continues to organize free training and certificate programs to support the professional and personal development of its students.
“Effective Writing Techniques” was organized by our University Department of Library and Documentation to support the professional development of our students. A total of 30 people attended the training, which was offered free of charge and open to outside participation within the scope of vocational training. The training, which was held face to face at our university Ziraat Bank Library Bankkart Conference Hall on May 11, 2022, was conducted by our university lecturer Dr.Aykut Nasip KELEBEK.
In the training, information was given on effective text production techniques through the concepts of simplicity, clarity, density and intertextuality. Underlining that those who want to produce effective texts must be a good reader, KELEBEK drew attention to the importance of both reading classical works and following current literature.
