Our University Hosted the “10. European Renewable Energy Systems” Conference

The 10th European Renewable Energy Systems Conference, which was held with the presentation of Dr. Hasan Köten, our faculty member of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of our University, was held on May 9, 2022 at the Aşık Paşa Conference Hall in the South Campus of our University.

In the conference, where our university students participated widely as listeners, it was aimed to bring together researchers, engineers and naturalists from all over the world who are interested in developments in all branches of renewable energy systems. In this conference, where wind, solar, hydrogen production, hydro-, geothermal, solar condensation, fuel cell, energy harvesting and many other energy-related topics were discussed, developments in the sector, problems and plans for the coming years were also discussed. In this period of energy poverty in Europe and in the world, it was emphasized that in terms of energy policies, the diversification of resources by developing clean energy technologies in the world countries and the rapid integration of clean and domestic resources in our country, especially in terms of energy supply, was emphasized. The event, which was held to increase the share of renewable energy in energy consumption, was successfully completed with 232 participants from 59 different countries.
