IMU Career Club organized an online event on December 27, 2021, at 21.00, and Germany Danone Digital Manager Canberk DEMİR took part as a speaker with the topic of “Keeping Up With Digital Transformation”.
DEMİR said, “One of the important issues brought by the digital world is to accept change. The first step that is important for digitalization is self-discovery and learning to learn”. He stated that in order to be successful in the software industry, which is one of the most important areas of digital transformation, people should know how to question, not memorize, only in this way, they can develop themselves with a solution-oriented and innovative approach. He emphasized that the field of software and digitalization constantly requires industrial innovations.
Stating that sense of wonder and research should be used as a tool in order to develop, DEMİR advised the students to constantly improve themselves in various fields by keeping these senses alive. In the event, to which our students showed great interest, vocational training was provided to the participants with the important issues and experiences conveyed by DEMİR, who is at the top of the profession.
DEMİR also emphasized that in today’s business world, just as people need to improve themselves, businesses also need digitalization, which has become a necessity of the age in order to survive. He stated that the companies that have achieved success in the business world are companies that attach importance to product innovation and manufacturing innovation and closely follow the requirements of the age.
