Our Growing Library Collections Opened to High School Students’ Access through Protocols

Our resource collection is growing in our Ziraat Bank Library, which is the largest university library in Turkey. In addition to our own procurements, our collection grew larger through donations in 2021, including the donation of 200 books by the Office of the Consulate General of Hungary and Prof.Dr. Ali Rıza OKUR’s donation of his collection of 9,000 books.

Our library is currently open to our our students and academic staff, who have easy in-campus access to the printed resources they need for education activities and both in-campus and off-campus access to the electronic resources.

Furthermore, our University signed protocols for collaboration in education with Gebze Anatolian İmam Hatip High School, İstanbul Prof.Dr. Mümtaz Turhan Social Sciences High School, İTO Şehit Ragıp Ali Bilgen Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, Kadıköy Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, Kartal Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, and Rabia Anatolian İmam Hatip High School for Girls. Thanks to these protocols, students of local schools can use our campus facilities and the resources in our library, which is the largest university library in Turkey, as well as our educational facilities such as laboratories and conference halls. Also, the students are provided academic support for their projects and research by the faculty members and graduate students in related departments of the university.
