The Second Vocational Training of Gelişim Legal Academy was Held for Law Students

The second part of the vocational training seminar series organized by Gelişim Law Club and Alternatif Law Office under the name of Gelişim Law Academy was held on December 4, 2022, between 11.00 – 17.00. The training was open to law Students from all universities and held at the Ziraat Bank Library Conference Hall.

Att. M. Mahmut DOĞAN, Att. Berru TOGAÇ and Aslıhan B: GÖKÇINAR were the guest speakers in the training which was held under three sessions.

In the first lesson, Att. M. Mahmut DOĞAN discussed criminal proceedings from beginning to end in his speech titled ” “Investigation and Prosecution Phases in Criminal Trials, Hearing Order, Protective Measures and Objection“. He informed the students about the preparation of the indictment, the opening of the case, the presentation of the evidence, the examination of witnesses, and the order of the hearing. He also made statements about the protective measures that can be ordered in order to ensure that the proceedings can countinue in a healthy manner.

In the second lesson, Att. Berru TOGAÇ gave general information about the types of cases and the branches and sub-branches of the judicial and administrative judiciary in her speech titled “Where to open lawsuits? How to object to expert reports?”  In addition, she exampled the features that should be found in the experts’ opinions who were consulted in many cases and she also pointed out the objections that were mostly asserted against the expert opinions.

In the last session, Aslıhan B. GÖKÇINAR, who works as a corporate communication manager at Vodafone shared her professional experiences in crisis management.

In this seminar, which was carried out as the second part of the Gelişim Law Academy vocational training series, lectures from different fields were carried out in harmony, as in the first, and a diverse educational environment was created where our students combine theory and practice together.

The training ended with after presentation of plaques.
