The first part of the vocational training seminar series organized by Gelişim Law Club and Alternatif Law Office under the name of Gelişim Law Academy was held on November 27, 2022, between 10.00 – 16.00. The training was open to law students from all universities and held at the Ziraat Bank Library Conference Hall.
Att. Murat Sadak, Ümit Ünker, Att. Elif Altınok and M. Masum Arıkan were the guest speakers in the training which was held under four sessions.
In the first lesson, Atty. Murat Sadak gave an introductory information about the authorities playing roles in different kind of judicial processes in his speech titled “Subjects of the Judiciary”. In the second session, Ümit Ünker, gave tips on making a strong defense in the practice of law, accompanied by convincing arguments in his speech titled “Persuasion in Communication”. The third session was about UYAP, which is an official electronic platform where information and documents related to lawsuits can be accessed by both members of the judiciary and litigants. Att. Elif Altınok gave a general briefing on the use of UYAP and then showed the attaching of information and documents to the system and examining them in the system.
In the last session, M. Masum Arıkan, who works as a Deputy Executive Director, gave important practical information to our students about the problems that are frequently experienced in the process from the initiation of the enforcement proceedings to the last stage.
This vocational training seminar, in which courses in different fields are blended and performed together, empowered the reasoning capability of our students by offering a harmonised learning opportunity.
The training ended after the presentation of plaques.
