Istanbul Medeniyet University continues to organize free training and certificate programs to support the professional and personal development of its students.
“Authorship Training” was organized by our University Department of Library and Documentation to support the professional development of our students. The training, which was held face to face at our university Ziraat Bank Library Bankkart Conference Hall between 12th November and 31th December 2022, was conducted by our university lecturer Dr.Aykut Nasip KELEBEK. A total of 8 people attended the training, which was offered free of charge and open to outside participation within the scope of vocational training.
In the authorship workshop classes held weekly, prospective poets and authors read the works of many local and foreign authors within a certain reading program and had the opportunity to approach literary texts from different perspectives. Poet-author candidates produced qualified poems, stories and essays throughout the process and had the opportunity to publish their final works in national literary magazines. At the end of the training, a selection of the participants’ works was created and a book titled “Literature in Medeniyet” was prepared under the editorship of Aykut Nasip KELEBEK. The prepared book was published as open access by the Department of Library and Documentation Department.
