“Stop Motion Meetings” jointly organized by our University Visual Communication Design Department and IMU Sanat Tasarım Club was held on October 25, 2022 at IMU Ziraat Bank Library Bankkart Hall.
Designers Ediz ANAVI, Barış ÇORAK and İrem Nur TERZI who were invited for the event gave important information about stop motion animation. They shared a lot of information with our students, such as what the Art of Animation is, how it is used in short films and advertisements, what kind of preparation process is required for stop-motion animation and important tips for its production.
The speakers discussed the meaning of being a designer as the artificial intelligence technologies of the digital world are gradually developing and the importance and necessity of being in the industry by doing crafts. The event provided a holistic benefit in inspiring students by helping them become more curious about animation and by offering professional training.
