The Project Led by our Faculty Member has been Granted Support by Sultanbeyli Municipality

The project titled ‘’Sultanbeyli Social Fabric Research’’ led by Prof. Dr. Lütfi SUNAR, a faculty member of our Department of Sociology, has been granted support by Sultanbeyli Municipality.

The project aims to obtain comprehensive information about the social, economic, cultural, and demographic structure of Sultanbeyli, as well as its issues. Drawing on existing experiences and practices, the project also aims to develop a new data collection and analysis model for Sultanbeyli Municipality. Within the scope of the project, research is being conducted in 4,000 households in Sultanbeyli to gather data. With the completion of the project in 2023, the analysis, understanding, and promotion of the district’s potential and opportunities will be achieved. A study showcasing the socio-economic structure of Sultanbeyli, including key indicators, will be generated by utilizing national data, administrative records, and research findings, This study will be updated annually and will contribute to the goal of sustainable urban and living areas, providing support for Sultanbeyli’s development.
