Students from the Law Workshop Club of our university hosted PhD. İhsan BAŞTÜRK, member of the Criminal Division of the Supreme Court, on “How to Write an Indictment?” vocational training conducted online on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 13.00.
The vocational training seminar was open to the participation of law students from different universities interested in judiciary for their future career. In the seminar, PhD. BAŞTÜRK touched upon issues such as the detection of events and crimes, identification of suspects, evaluation of evidence in establishing a cause-effect relationship. Stressing the importance of the prosecution’s correct determination of crime and criminals in ensuring criminal justice, BAŞTÜRK also touched upon the role of the prosecutor’s office in the trial process in criminal tribunals. After the theoretical training, indictment samples were examined as case studies in the same session.
The training was concluded after the Q&A session.
